Marcy

My dear friend,
Words do not come easy at a time like this. I knew you were ill, but I was not prepared to say good-bye so soon. You touched many lives, and you will be sorely missed.
I remember the first time I called you...you were so excited as you called to Joe, "It's Willowbee!"
Regrets come, but too late. I wish I had called you and visited you more often. But I think you knew I was there that last night when I kissed your forehead and whispered good-bye. I will never forget you.....

Your friend,
Shirley

Miss Me, But Let Me Go.

When I come to the end of the road,
And the sun has set for me,
I want no rites in a gloom filled room,
Why cry for a soul set free.
Miss me a little -- But not too long,
And not with your head bowed low,
Remember the love that we once shared,
Miss Me -- But let me go.

For this is a journey we all must take,
And each must go alone,
It's all a part of the master's plan,
A step on the road to home.
So when you are lonely and sick of heart,
Go to the friend we know,
And bury your sorrow in doing good deeds,
Miss me -- But let me go.
