Thanks a lot

Forever grateful

Today is October 1, 2009, and it is with sadness that GeoCities is being closed down. This was the first website that I built with Webtv and I couldn't have done it without the help of others. Some of the links below no longer work, and I think that's because I had not learned how to transload them to my file manager. I think that's when linking wasn't such a no-no. I've chosen to leave the original page. This is more for me than anyone viewing the page. So, if you are visiting, and you see things missing, you'll know why. Enjoy your visit.

This is where I am going to thank the wonderful people who have helped me get to this point. When we first got webtv, I was totally lost. I knew nothing about the internet, email, or web pages. (I am still learning). In desperation, I put out a call for help. I was pleasantly surprised at the response I got. I received immediate answers to my questions from a number of people. THANK YOU! But these three people stuck with me, and taught me how to find and add backgrounds and music to my email. When I first started it was like....WHAT'S HTML? They were right there ready to answer any questions I had. So my thanks and appreciation goes to Debbie, Astral, and Sluggo.

When I first saw Debbie's email, I thought, WOW, that is so pretty; so I shouldn't have been surprised when I visited her homepage and found it just as pretty as her email. If you would like to visit Debbie, you could fly right on over to "Emily's Country Home". She has lots of things for you to see. And now, Debbie has added a new site. It's called "Majestic Mountain Graphics".She has some wonderful Victorian graphics and backgrounds just waiting for you to come and get them. NOTE: I'm sorry to say neither of these sites are available now.

Astral has backgrounds, music midis, etc. so why don't you buzz on over to his place and look around. Don't worry about his sign ASTRAL1'S NOT HOME . I always find him there. Sorry, his page is gone now.

My friend, Sluggo, doesn't have a web page, but if he ever gets one, I will let you know.

I have one more special "thank you" and that is to my Angel. (We all need our angels). What would I have done without her? She took over which gave Astral, Debbie, and Sluggo a rest. You can visit my angel at JCEM'S PAGE. She also gave me my first award (which I apparently didn't transload, therefore, the blank space below....boo hoo). Note: This page is no longer available.

Wow! I just got a second award. What a surprise. Thank you....Thank you!

I am so honored to have my site chosen as the site of the week on Sept. 26, 1999, by the Marmite Traveling Club. Thank you so much. (As of this year, the Marmite Traveling Club no longer exists. Replacing it is the new U.S.A. Drifters Club.)

I am pleased to display the following award presented to me by Robert and Helen at Scripture Plus. Thank you my friends.

This site is no longer available. Sad to say, Robert has passed away.

This award was presented to me by my super good friends, Marcy and Joe. My bees and I thank you. Our love and hugs go out to both of you.

This site is no longer available. Again, sad to say, we lost both Marcy and Joe. May they rest in peace.

This is the diploma I received for taking the HTML 101 course at Webtech University.

More awards on the next page..
