The only
watercolors that I have in my collection are those that were done by my
dear wife, Teruko and although they may not meet the test of being true "Japanese
watercolors," they are in the least, watercolors done by a Japanese.Of
all the wonderful and beautiful things I have seen in my many visits to Japan,
some of which I have even brought back with me, none has given me greater
happiness nor given me more reason for blessing my good fortune
than this amazing
girl from Tokyo who returned as my wife.
