The Amnicon River flows north through Amnicon Falls State Park, dropping several times. The waterfalls are named the Upper Falls and Lower Falls along the main drag, and can be viewed from covered walk-bridges and observation decks. The Now and Then Falls can also be viewed from a platform, reachable by taking a short path off the road. Snake Pit Falls is a short hike also. The waterfalls freeze over in Winter, then April's thaw makes them very high-powered. In the Summer you can swim by the waterfalls. Click Thumbnails to Enlarge
