As I look out over my fields Lord
I realize they are not really mine
They all belong to You Lord
And that just suits me mighty fine

Thank you for letting me use the land Lord
To keep my family fed and clad
And for teaching me the farmers way
You are the best friend I have ever had

Sometimes the crops aren't good Lord
But I try to do the best I can
I always know that you are near
And that is part of Your plan

Sometimes the work is awful hard Lord
But You are always there to lean on
It is You that always brings the harvest
After all the seeds have been sown

I know I could never, ever repay You
But I know that this much is true
I just do the planting and plowing
An the harvest will come from You

Thank You for all my kids Lord
And my faithful loving wife
They are always there for me
After You they are the joy of my life

Well, I guess I better be going Lord
I got lots of work needing done today
But while I am working I will be thinking
Of how good You are to me everyday

I best be signing off now Lord
But I'll soon be back again
I know how much You love me
And Lord I love You too---Amen
