"THE GREATEST LOVE"

To define love have you ever tried?
(Oh yes Jack, times I needed a guide)

Well Jesus is love personified
(I agree, the Only True Love tested and tried)

He proved that to us long ago
(Remember the Bible tells us so)

When for Us he was crucified
(And on that cross for us HE died)

He knew full well what lay ahead
(Even before we were born)

And knew what lay ahead
(He warned us with a heart torn)

But that didn't stop Him
(His light to the world never dimmed)

And He died for our stead
(How sad to know His body bled)

With Love He is watching over us now
(For our Blessings to Him we bow)

And so it will forever remain
(Our God is forever the same)

Such love was never known before
(No one ever loved us any more )

Nor will it ever be known again
(Until He desends from Heaven His children to claim)

He shed His precious blood that day
(On that hill far away)

That's what His Father sent Him for
(How could we be loved any more??)

And if you accept Him He has promised you
(His promises never fail)

A place reserved in Heaven above
(You are right Jack, no fairy tale)

Where trials and troubles will not be known
(In our new Eternal Home)

And you can gaze on His face with love
(As beautiful as the dove)

So next time you talk to Jesus
(I talk to Him every day and how He loves us)

Thank Him from His precious love
(I agree Jack, the forever love)

And knowing that someday you'll be going
(We pray our seeds we are sowing)

To join Him in in your new home above
(Folks, Jack and I will be waiting with our Love)
