As I gazed down the valley so deep
HIS words I now began to seek
I had read the Good Book thru and thru
It was then I knew HIS promise was true

  I had taken the lonely road
Spirit broken with a heavy load
Watched the pebbles in the stream
Crystal waters washing them forever clean

Could not comprehend trials so great
Realized the "other" road I must anticipate
Just as a soft still voice in the wind
God gently whispered "Start all over again"

  Soft as the pedals of a rose His voice within me instilled
Words of wisdom learned long ago were now fulfilled
In God's awesome valley I shall stay
Knowing He walks and guides me when I stumble along the way

Peace lifting my soul with love now sings
Of all the Blessings HE forever brings
An aching heart at times needs care
As promised in God's word, I found my Jesus still there

  Heavenly voices have joined to sing of HIS wondrous Grace
Anxiously waiting to meet our Lord face to face
No tears, no trials, no valleys too deep
Faith is the key to victory until we kneel at our Master's feet
