 *~THE WAY LOVE GROWS~* I feel Love is the answer It's so basic to our needs Without it something's missing It's like a tiny seed.  As a seedling, it needs much care For it to nurture and to grow It needs the warmth of Loving Hearts To teach it what it should know. We begin learning from our parents Our teachers sometimes take a part Our brothers, sisters and our friends All help to build a Heart. But also we develop A sense of it on our own Sometimes it's called "basic chemistry" We will experiment with this unknown. And it will take many forms For as we grow, we care in many ways The love of Art and Music, for example, Gives us such great pleasure in our days. We Love nature and animals too Snowflakes melting on our tongue :) We hold dear our Loving grandparents And later on our very own young. We learn that sometimes Love means sacrifice And it can also cause great pain The loss of a young soldier Who's life was not lost in vain. But would we ever return this flower Oh Yes!!! Most assuredly so The greatest gift is giving it back To One who Loves you so. So as Valentine's Day approaches Treasure this Special Day Let the One you Love and hold dear Feel your Love in Your Own Special Way We also should remember That "Special One" for His Help For His Great Love and His Teachings Who told us to Love your neighbor as Yourself.
