and you're worn from
all the fun
it's time to bask
in warmth, to rest,
and recapture all the best.
Place your feet up
and "rekindle"
all that sets your
heart aglow
not to let the
fire dwindle
but to let your
love-light show.
Like a hearth where
loved ones gather
where they share the
old and new
may your heart be
filled with gladness
as the holidays are through.
God bless the "mess"
that's left behind
and as you rest
have peace of mind.
