Another picture of Luzern's signature bridge, taken during a break in the clouds and from a little different angle. There will be more photos of it, but let us first get back to my train trip



I got to the right platform with time to spare and anxiously awaited the arrival of the train. And there it came. It was a double-decker, like the one on the other track. I decided to get a seat on top for the view. Here is what the inside looks like:



Mind you this is 2nd class, but with only four comfortable seats across it could be 1st...
Needless to say, I thoroughly enjoyed the trip, as you can see on the left. The ride was a joy, no bumping or shaking, no rattle of wheels, it was like riding on air.
They even came down the aisle with a serving cart offering drinks and snacks. I still wonder how they get that cart to the upper level. There must be an elevator somewhere.




In Luzern I took a last look at my beautiful train and headed for the exit
