Recently I had my bird totally rebuilt. I now have more power. Changed over to duel exhaust. Put a power cam in. And it sounds great. A few more things to the inside and she will be ready for car shows. Below is a pic of a Turbo 301 Formula. Notice the side scoop. Different from the trans-am or regular formula. 4.9 (301) engine. For 2 years they made these engines for the firebird due to the gas crunch problem. There isn't many of them left.
