A message to the families of all the heroes
A memorial in words from my heart.
No one knew on that frightening day,
the devil would come from up and away.
Courage is what they wanted to take,
but countless heroes is what they did make.
From purple mountains to purple hearts,
they thought they could try to tear us apart.
But we are stronger than steel, and warmer than fuel
and our spirits have risen with a new attitude.
God opened his arms for heroes that day
he thanked them each and asked them to stay.
Thank you for the courage you showed
From the blinding darkness, valor did grow.
We will never forget for the rest of our lives,
and pass on to our children about your heroic ties.
A tragic day that we will never forget
Still in our hearts, still in our heads.

NEVER WILL WE FORGET
Never will we forget
Though dust and ash will settle
Lessons this day were met
America tested to the mettle
Never will we forget
Lives torn and cruelly broken
Who's spirits linger yet
In Patriotism freshly woken
Never will we forget
Grace and courage under fire
Challenges bravely met
Through days that did transpire
Never will we forget
Twisted metal and broken rock
Freedom met no sunset
We are of stronger stock
Unchained a tiger roars now
A sound too fearsome to forget
Unbowed The Eagle soars now
To avenge innocent blood first let
Those who planted the seeds take warning
The final harvest will come yet
Which they will reap in mourning
Because…
NEVER WILL WE FORGET!

Psalm 11
1: In the LORD put I my trust:
How say ye to my soul,
Flee as a bird to your mountain?
2: For, lo, the wicked bend their bow,
they make ready their arrow upon the string,
that they may privily shoot at the upright in heart.
3: If the foundations be destroyed,
what can the righteous do?
4: The LORD is in his holy temple,
the LORD's throne is in heaven:
his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men.
5: The LORD trieth the righteous:
but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.
6: Upon the wicked he shall rain snares,
fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest:
this shall be the portion of their cup.
7: For the righteous LORD loveth righteousness;
his countenance doth behold the upright.
Though the mountains be shaken and the hills
be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not
be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed...
~Isaiah 54:10
