Dear Grandma and Grandpa
By Natalie Murdock - August 21, 2000

Well, I had so much fun this past weekend at your 50th anniversary celebration. It was such a treat to see all those wonderful people (especially you two!). It was great to finally get around to the East Coast also. It looked to me, and probably to everyone else, that you two enjoyed yourselves greatly.

You both had a smile from ear to ear the whole time. When you guys went up to dance to Sgt. Pepper, you looked like young teens. You both had some great moves, and I actually cried to see you guys so happy together.

It was totally an honor for me to slow dance with Grandpa, as it probably was for Nic to dance with you, Grandma. Speaking of Nic, I also had an absolutely spectacular time seeing my cousins and hanging out with them. I had never seen Jason or Nic before, and it had been years since I'd seen Jerod. I hope we'll all keep in touch now.

You know what else? It was totally a memory I'm going to have forever, of us playing Trivial Pursuit and "What Insect/Animal Am I." That was classic fun. Well, I certainly enjoyed myself and hope you both , as well as everyone who came, did too.
