Halloween is our favorite holiday! There, I've said it! Not Christmas, though it is a close second. Don't get me wrong, we aren't Satan worshipers or anything like that!!! We celebrate it as a children's holiday, and believe me, my kids LOVE it as much as I do. I do more decorating for Halloween than Christmas, if you don't count the lights.





The following is Halloween at our ZOO. We get gobs of trick or treaters. What with our roving werewolves, blood-curdling sound effects, and scary dummies (is it a dummy, or is it REALLLL! SHRIEK!!!!), very few youngsters make it to the front door. We often have to follow them back out to the street and give their parents their treats, LOL! They always come back for more every year, so I guess it isn't TOO scary, hmmmmm?
