My name is Fred Weaver. I was born in 1955, in New Paris, Ohio. I was raised in a Christian home with very good up-bringing, and I am proud to be the son of Delbert and Juanita Weaver. I have 2 wonderful sisters, and 2 wonderful brothers. I Married my Lovely wife, Jean in 1974, and we had a lot of good times, but I lost her to cancer March 8th, 2001. I also lost a son at age of 21 to lukemia in 1997. And my Mother passed away with cancer April 27th, 2001. But I am still holding on to my faith in God and thanking him for the many blessings he gives me, and for the hope of a reunion soon with my loved ones, and eternal life with him. I spent 20 years in the United States airforce and retired from it in 1995. I found my way to an alter and turned my life over to Jesus Christ in 1990 (best choice I could ever make!) and I have had mountaintop experiences, and I have had valley experiences since then, but God said "I will never leave you nor forsake you" and He has been true to His word. I have 2 sons, 2 daughters, 4 grand-daughters, and 1 grand-son. Here are some of the things I believe: I believe that a Christian who is sold out to God will still have temptations come, but can overcome every temptation.

There hath no temptation taken
you but such as is common to man:
but God is faithful, who will not suffer
you to be tempted above that ye are
able; but will with the temptation also
make a way to escape, that ye may
be able to bear it. 1 cor. 10:13 (kjv)

I do not believe in "Once saved, always saved". The Bible doesn't teach that, you have to twist the scriptures, and omit some if you are going to believe that. Yes, I can fall back into sin, but I don't have to, and if I do, then the Holy Spirit will let me know, and then if I repent Jesus will forgive me. I know this is not popular teaching, but I'm not here to win a popularity contest, I'm here to spread the truth. I believe in living the kind of life that people will be able to tell there is something different about me, and in that way I can hopfully lead them to Christ. We are in the world, but we can't have the world in us, Just like you have a boat in the water, but if you let water get in the boat then your in trouble.
