AM I HEARD? Lord, millions of people will pray tonight, Some will ask if their decisions are right. While others confess their many sins, In need of forgiveness that cleanses within. From all those prayers and muttered words, I wonder how my prayers are ever heard. Am I so special, You hear what I say? Then the answer was given, "I hear You" I say. "All prayers are heard that come from my flock, Not all are answered, though reasons are sought. Your heart must be pure, your motives true, If I'm to answer, like you want Me to." In prayer I quietly bowed my head, Then I opened His Word to read what it said. God knew all along what was best for me, So I'll continue to pray on bended knee. Author unknown
