My Dad's Day Wrap-up

Mary Lynn, you are something, Thank you, too bad he doesn't have on a swim suit, He was an avid swimmer and a great dancer. He was always the first on the dance floor and the last one off, Unless his daughter Vi was there, then I outlasted him. haha. All the family loved to dance and we wore out more than one rug. Never had money to go a lot of places, but we always had music in the house. Many a soldiier and sailor came to our home. My Mom always kidded them and said she wanted new carpeting when the war was over. We had our own USO. haha. Our door was always open whether it was for a meal for someone hungry or a serviceman who wanted a home away from home. My father used to write soooooo many letters to the boys who were away in the service. I used to love it when he would read them to us. Here I go again. Thanks for all the nice replies. Love you all.
