CONSTITUTION—BY—LAWS DUTIES OF PARK RANGER

PREAMBLE
IN THE NAME OF THE GOD OF NATURE AND NATURE’S GOD, WE DEDICATE THIS CONSTITUTION AND INVOKE HIS BLESSING UPON ITS SUCCESS. THE NAME OF THE ASSOCIATION SHALL BE THE PINE VALLEY SPORTSMEN, INCORPORATED. THE PURPOSE OF THE ORGANIZATION WILL BE THE RECLAMATION OF WASTELAND AND THE PROPAGATION OF WILDLIFE. IT SHALL BE A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION.

CONSTITUTION
THE CONSTITUTION OF THE PINE VALLEY SPORTSMEN CLUB SHALL DESIGNATE THE OFFICERS, THEIR TERM OF OFFICE, MANNER OF ELECTION, THEIR DUTIES, INCLUDING LEGISLATIVE, JUDICIAL AND EXECUTIVE. IT SHALL REQUIRE BOND OF SECRETARY AND TREASURER. IT SHALL STATE THE BOUNDS BEYOND WHICH THEY CANNOT GO BY GIVING THEIR PREROGATIVES.

LEGISLATIVE
ARTICLE I
BOARD OF SIX TRUSTEES TO BE ELECTED AS FOLLOWS: THREE (3) AT EACH BI-ANNUAL ELECTION TO SERVE A TERM OF FOUR (4) YEARS EACH.

ARTICLE II
DUTIES OF THE TRUSTEES

1. TO REINFORCE THIS CONSTITUTION AND THE BY-LAWS CONCERNING THIS ASSOCIATION.

2. TO ASSENT, ALTER, OR REJECT THE PRESIDENT’S BUDGET AS THEY SEE FIT, BUT, AT NO TIME SHALL SUCH BUDGET FOR ANY ONE YEAR EXCEED THE FORESEEABLE INCOME FOR THAT YEAR. WHEN THERE ARE FUNDS IN EXCESS OF THE BUDGET THEY MAY BE ADDED TO THE BUDGET OF THE NEXT FISCAL YEAR EXCEPT FOR A RESERVE TO BE KEPT FOR AN EMERGENCY. SUCH RESERVE FUND TO BE SET BY THE BY-LAWS.

3. ALL TAXES, INSURANCES, CIVIL ASSESSMENTS AND UTILITIES MUST BE INCLUDED IN THE BUDGET AND FUNDS TO TAKE CARE OF SAME MUST BE PROVIDED BEFORE ANY OTHER ITEM MAY BE CONSIDERED.

4. THE BUDGET MUST BE PRESENTED AT THE REGULAR MEETING IN MARCH FOR CONSIDERATION OF THE CLUB.

PREROGATIVES
ARTICLE III

SECTION 1 THEY SHALL HAVE THE RIGHT TO RECOMMEND WITH THE CONSENT OF THE PRESIDENT THE CHANGING OF DUES OR MAKING OF ASSESSMENTS.

SECTION 2 TO PASS LAWS REGULATING MORALS, GAME, FISH AND SUCH AMUSEMENT AS MAY BE HAD BY THE CLUB. SUCH LAWS MUST BE SUBJECT TO THE INTERPRETATION OF THE JUDICIAL COMMITTEE AND SHALL BE ENFORCED UNTIL THE FIRST MEETING OF THE CLUB AT WHICH TIME THE LAWS MUST BE PLACED BEFORE THE CLUB FOR APPROVAL OR REJECTION. CLUB APPROVAL MUST BE HAD BEFORE A LAW BECOMES PERMANENT.

SECTION 3 ALL PERMANENT LAWS SHALL BECOME BY-LAWS WHICH SHALL BE FINAL UNTIL REPEALED BY DUE PROCESS AS DESCRIBED IN THIS CONSTITUTION.

SECTION 4 MAKING OR CHANGING OF BY-LAWS BY THE REGULAR OFFICERS IN THE FOLLOWING MANNER:

A. IT MUST ORIGINATE IN THE TRUSTEES MEETING, BE APPROVED, ALTERED OR REJECTED BY THE JUDICIAL COMMITTEE AND THE PRESIDENT. IT WILL THEN BE TAKEN TO THE FLOOR AT THE FIRST REGULAR MEETING, AFTER SUCH APPROVAL OR REJECTION IS MADE BY THE BODY OF THE CLUB.

B. SUCH CHANGES CAN ALSO BE BROUGHT ABOUT BY A PETITION SIGNED BY TEN (10) MEMBERS IN GOOD STANDING AND PRESENTED IN WRITING TO THE TRUSTEES, WHO MUST ACT UPON IT IMMEDIATELY AND PRESENTED THROUGH THE REGULAR CHANNEL TO THE BODY AT THE FIRST MEETING. A GRACE PERIOD OF FIFTEEN (15) DAYS SHALL BE PERMITTED FOR THE TRUSTEES, JUDICIAL COMMITTEE AND THE PRESIDENT TO PRESENT ALTERATIONS DESCRIBED IN THE PETITI0N FOR THE BODY POLITIC.

SECTION 5 LAWS ORIGINATING IN THE TRUSTEES: PASSED BY THE JUDICIAL COMMITTEE, APPROVED BY THE PRESIDENT, SHALL BE ENFORCED UNTIL THE FIRST MEETING OF THE BODY POLITIC. THE PRESIDENTIAL VETO CAN BE OVERRULED BY FOUR (4) MEMBERS OF THE TRUSTEES AND THREE (3) MEMBERS OF THE JUDICIAL COMMITTEE. IT MUST BE READ AND PASSED AT THREE REGULAR MEETINGS.

ARTICLE IV
DUTIES OF THE PRESIDENT

1. THE ENFORCEMENT OF ALL LAWS.

2. THE APPOINTMENT OF ALL COMMITTEES, CHAIRMAN MEMBERS AND SUCH APPOINTMENTS AS MAY BE NECESSARY TO FILL ELECTIVE VACANCIES OR TO MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF SUCH BY-LAWS AS MAY BE PASSED AND DO NOT PROVIDE FOR OFFICIALS TO CARRY THEM OUT.

3. THE APPOINTMENTS ARE SUBJECT TO THE APPROVAL OF A MAJORITY OF THE TRUSTEES.

4. THE PRESIDENT OR VICE PRESIDENT MUST PRESIDE AT ALL MEETINGS OF THE TRUSTEES.

5. IT SHALL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE PRESIDENT AND ALL OFFICERS TO SEE THAT ALL LAWS ARE ENFORCED. FAILURE TO DO SO SHALL CONSTITUTE GROUNDS FOR DISMISSAL FROM THE OFFICE OF THE CLUB.

6. ALL OFFICIERS SHALL HAVE THE RIGHT TO COMMAND MEMBERS TO AID IN SUCH ENFORCEMENT.

ARTICLE V
DUTIES OF THE VICE PRESIDENT

THE VICE PRESIDENT SHALL CARRY OUT ALL PRESIDENTIAL DUTIES IN THE ABSENCE OF THE PRESIDENT AND SUCCEED TO THE OFFICE WHEN IT BECOMES VACANT.

ARTICLE VI
DUTIES OF THE SECRETARY

1. TO ATTEND ALL CORRESPONDENCE.

2. RECEIVE ALL DUES AND OTHER MONIES OF THE CLUB, AND TURN OVER SAID MONEY TO THE TREASURER, TAKING HIS RECEIPT FOR SAME.

3. HE SHALL KEEP AND HAVE IN HIS CUSTODY A LIST OF ALL MEMBERS.

ARTICLE VII
DUTIES OF THE JUDICIAL COMMITTEE

THIS JUDICIAL COMMITTEE SHALL INTERPRET ALL LAWS AND SHALL APPROVE OR REJECT CURRENT BY-LAWS PROPOSED BY THE TRUSTEES AND SUCH DISAPPROVALS WILL BE BINDING UNTIL THE FIRST REGULAR MEETING OF THE CLUB AT WHICH TIME THE CLUB SHALL HAVE THE RIGHT TO DECIDE THE ISSUE. THE INITIAL JUDICIAL COMMITTEE SHALL BE ANY MEMBER IN GOOD STANDING. SUCH ELECTION TO STATE THEIR TERMS OF OFFICE 2-4-6 YEARS. FIVE MEMBERS TO BE ELECTED. ONE FOR SIX (6) YEARS. TERMS OF ALL SUCCEEDING MEMBERS, SIX (6) YEARS.

ARTICLE VIII
NOMINATING COMMITTEE

A NOMINATING COMMITTEE SHALL BE APPOINTED BY THE PRESIDENT BEFORE THE FIRST REGULAR MEETING IN NOVEMBER. SUCH COMMITTEE SUBJECT TO THE APPROVAL AND CONFORMATION OF THE TRUSTEES AND THE JUDICIAL COMMITTEE. THIS COMMITTEE MUST REPORT THE NOMINATION OF A LEAST TWO (2) MEMBERS FOR EACH ELECTIVE OFFICE AND REPORT THE SAME TO THE FIRST MEETING IN DECEMBER AT WHICH TIME ADDITIONAL NOMINATIONS MAY BE MADE AND CLOSED. THE ELECTION SHALL BE HELD AT THE FIRST MEETING IN JANUARY, AT WHICH TIME THE NEW PRESIDENT SHALL BE INSTALLED. HE IN TURN SHALL INSTALL ALL OTHER OFFICERS ELECTED, STATING THE DUTIES OF SAME AT THE TIME OF INSTALLATION. RETIRING OFFICERS MUST FUNCTION UNTIL NEW OFFICERS ARE INSTALLED.

ARTICLE IX
– PROPERTY

THE SALE OF ANY REAL ESTATE OF THE CLUB CANNOT BE MADE EXCEPT UNDER THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS:

A. A WRITTEN PETITION MUST BE PRESENTED BY FIFTY (50) PERCENT OF MEMBERSHIP IN GOOD STANDING, PLUS ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($1,000.00) CASH OR CERTIFIED CHECK TO BE FORFEITED IF NOT SOLD.

B. THOSE IN FAVOR OF THE SALE AND EACH AND EVERY SIGNATURE ON SAID PETITION MUST BE NOTARIZED. AFTER SUCH PETITION MUST BE PRESENTED AT THE REGULAR MEETING THE SECRETARY SHALL NOTIFY EACH AND EVERY MEMBER IN GOOD STANDING OF THE PROPOSED SALE BY REGISTERED MAIL, REQUESTING A REPLY. A PERIOD OF SIXTY (60) DAYS IS TO BE ALLOWED FOR THE REPLY AT WHICH TIME THE SECRETARY SHALL IMMEDIATELY NOTIFY EACH AND EVERY MEMBER OF A SPECIAL MEETING TO BE HELD THIRTY (30) DAYS AFTER THE DEADLINE DATE OF SUCH RETURNS AT WHICH MEETING EACH AND EVERY MEMBER IN GOOD STANDING MUST VOTE IN FAVOR OF THE SALE.

C. NOTARIZED AFFIDAVITS WILL BE ACCEPTABLE FROM ABSENT MEMBERS.

D. MEMBERS ARE IN GOOD STANDING ONLY IF DUES ARE PAID WITHIN NINETY (90) DAYS OF DUE DATE JANUARY 1ST OF EACH YEAR.

AMENDMENTS
SECTION 1

THIS CONSTITUTION CAN ONLY BE AMENDED IN THE FOLLOWING MANNER:

A. THE PROPOSED AMENDMENT MUST BE PRESENTED TO THE TRUSTEES AND PASSED THROUGH THE REGLUAR CHANNELS AND LAID DOWN FOR THE PASSING OF REGULAR LEGISLATION AND STATED IN THE LEGISLATURE PREROGATIVES OF THE CONSTITUTION AFTER WHICH TIME THE ENTIRE MEMBERSHIP MUST BE NOTIFIED BY SPECIAL REQUEST WITH RETURN REPLY SIXTY (60) DAYS BEING ALLOWED FOR SUCH RETURNS AND THIRTY (30) DAYS AFTER THE DEALINE A MEETING SHALL BE HELD AT WHICH A VOTE OF TWO-THIRDS OF THE TOTAL MEMBERSHIP IN GOOD STANDING SHALL BE NECESSARY TO AMEND.

B. THE SECRETARY MUST NOTIFY ALL MEMBER THIRTY (30) DAYS PRIOR TO SUCH MEETING.

C. NOTARIZED AFFIDAVITS WILL BE ACCEPTABLE FOR ABSENT MEMBERS.

AMENDMENTS AND BY-LAWS

1. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG WILL BE GIVEN AT ALL REGULAR MEETINGS. FOLLOWING THE DEATH OF A MEMBER A MOMENT OF SILENCE WILL BE OBSERVED AT NEXT REGULAR MEETING. A DONATION OF $25.00 WILL BE GIVEN TO THE FAMILY.

2. TRUSTEES TO HAVE A MEETING ONCE A MONTH. A MAJORITY OF TRUSTEES MUST BE PRESENT TO FORM A QUORUM. ANY TRUSTEE MISSING THREE (3) REGULAR TRUSTEE MEETINGS IN A ROW WITHOUT A GOOD REASON SHALL BE REPLACED BY THE PRESIDENT. A TRUSTEE MUST NOTIFY A MEMBER THAT IS ATTENDING THE MEETING AND GIVE REASON FOR BEING ABSENT.

3. THE TRUSTEES WILL PROVIDE A SUITABLE CARETAKER FOR THE PARK AND CLUBHOUSE. TRUSTEES SHALL GO INTO CONTRACT WITH CARETAKER AND PROVIDE COMPLETE SUPERVISION OVER CARETAKERS CLUB ROOM/BAR ROOM RULES AND PRICES.

4. COMBINE THE OFFICE OF THE SECRETARY AND TREASURER. HAVE AT LEAST ONE TRUSTEE SIGN ALL BILLS BEFORE GOING TO THE SECRETARY TREASURER. THE SECRETARY-TREASURER AND THE PRESIDENT MUST SIGN ALL CHECKS BEFORE THEY BECOME VALID. SECRETARY SHALL BE PAID $1,200.00 ANNUAL SALARY PLUS ONE (1) WORK DAY A MONTH IF THERE IS MONEY IN THE WORK FUND.

B. A RESERVE FUND OF A LEAST $1,500.00 SHOULD BE KEPT IN THE TREASURY AT ALL TIMES. TRUSTEES CAN ONLY OPERATE WITH THE GENERAL FUND. IN ANY ONE YEAR THE RESERVE FUND IS TO BE USED ONLY IN AN EMERGENCY, SUCH AS WITHDRAWAL OF MEMBERSHIP, ACT OF GOD, UNFORESEEN LEGAL RESPONSIBILITIES. BEFORE BUDGET CAN BE SET UP AT LEAST $1,500.00 MUST BE IN RESERVE FUND.

5. OPEN MEMBERSHIP TO ALL QUALIFYING APPLICANTS TO BE RECOMMENDED BY TWO (2) MEMBERS IN GOOD STANDING.

B. THE INITIATION FEE TO BE $100.00 AND DUES $95.00 PLUS $5.00 DAM FEE ( JULY 2012. PASSED FOR DUES 2013.)

C. APPLICANTS ON WAITING LIST MAY TAKE A TEMPORARY MEMBERSHIP CARD UNTIL VOTED ON BY CLUB BODY. IF NOT VOTED ON BY JANUARY 1ST, THEY MUST POST ANOTHER $ 100.00 IF VOTED OUT THEY WILL BE REFUNDED $150.00 AND MAY NOT RE-APPLY FOR TWO (2) YEARS. IF VOTED OUT THE SECOND TIME, THEY MAY NEVER RE-APPLY. ALL NEW MEMBERS TAKEN IN WILL BE ON PROBATION FOR SIX (6) MONTHS. IF FOUND UNDESIRABLE THEY WILL BE REFUNDED THEIR $200.00 AND FORFEIT MEMBERSHIP. ( FOR DUES 2013)

D. DUES TO BE PAID WITHIN NINETY (90) DAYS AFTER JANUARY 1ST OF EACH YEAR. A CARD WILL BE SENT OUT TO EACH MEMBER THAT HAS NOT PAID HIS DUES BY MARCH 1ST TO REMIND HIM OR HER.

E. ANY MEMBER IN THE SERVICE SHALL BE EXEMPT FROM DUES, BUT MUST KEEP SECRETARY INFORMED OF HIS OR HER STATUS.

F. MEMBER NOT PAYING DUES BY MARCH 31ST DEADLINE FORFEITS THEIR MEMBERSHIP, IF MEMBER RE-APPLIES IN 30-DAYS, THEY WILL BE CONSIDERED TO HAVE CONTINUOUS MEMBERSIP FOR RETIREMENT. MEMBER WHO RE-APPLIES FOR MEMBERSHIP WILL GO TO THE BOTTOM OF THE WAIT LIST. IF SAID MEMBER HAS A WORK DAY IT WILL COST $150.00 TO RE- APPLY.IF MEMBER DOES NOT HAVE A WORK DAY, IT WILL COST $200.00 TO RE-APPLY.

G. ALL APPLICANTS FOR MEMBERSHIP WILL BE READ AND ACCEPTED AT ONE MEETING AND VOTED ON BY SECRET BALLOT. MAJORITY OF NO VOTES DISQUALIFIES APPLICANT. APPLICANT MUST BE AT LEAST 18 YRS OF AGE TO APPLY FOR MEMBERSHIP.

H. APPLICANT FOR MEMBERSHIP AND SPOUSE MUST PRESENT THEMSELVES ( WITH IDENTIFICATIONS) WITH IN (30) DAYS OF RECEIVING APPLICATION OR LOOSE APPLICATION.MAKING YOUR APPEARANCE, PAYING YOUR APPLICANT FEE AND GETTING YOUR CARD WILL BE DONE ALL AT THE SAME TIME.THERE MUST BE (3) SIGNATURES OF OFFICERS ON APPEARANCE SHEET.( TRUSTEES, PRESIDENT OR VICE-PRESIDENT. I. NO NEW MEMBERS WILL BE ACCEPTED UNLESS MEMBERSHIP DROPS BELOW 625.

#5J: APPLICANTS ON THE WAITING LIST ARE NOT PERMITTED TO BRING GUESTS. HOWEVER, IF APPLICANT IS SINGLE, THEY CAN BRING A BOYFRIEND OR GIRLFRIEND OF THE OPPOSITE SEX. (7/11)

6. MEMBERS TO NOTIFY PARK FOREMAN IF THEY ARE AVAILABLE TO WORK, AND ROSTER WILL BE KEPT BY THE PARK FOREMAN. MEMBERS REPORTING WILLINGNESS TO WORK WILL BE CALLED IN ROTATION OF ROSTER. MEMBERS SHALL BE PAID $35.00 FOR THEIR SECOND DAY’S WORK IF MONEY AND WORK IS AVAILABLE, (MEMBERS LIMITED TO ONE DAY PER MONTH). COMPULSORY DAYS AND WORK DAYS APPLY TO JUNIOR MEMBERS AS WELL AS SENIOR MEMBERS. RETIRED MEMBER MUST WORK ONE (1) COMPULSORY DAY BEFORE BEING ELIGIBLE FOR A PAID DAY.

B. JUNIOR, SENIOR AND TEMPORARY MEMBERS MUST WORK ONE DAY PER YEAR. IF MEMBER DOES NOT WORK THEIR DAY EACH YEAR, THEY WILL BE FINED $50.00. FINE MUST BE PAID BEFORE NEXT DUES DEADLINE OR THEY FORFEIT THEIR MEMBERSHIP.

C. WORK SHEETS TO BE TURNED INTO PARK FOREMAN MONTHLY.

D. PARK FOREMAN TO BE APPOINTED BY THE PRESIDENT AND CONFIRMED BY THE TRUSTEES. PARK FOREMAN SALARY INCREASED TO $300.00 EVERY THREE MONTHS PLUS ONE (1) WORKDAY PER MONTH AS LONG AS THERE IS MONEY IN THE WORK FUND.

7. MEMBERS JOINING CLUB BEFORE 01-01-1984 AND HAS REACHED AGE 65 AND HAS TEN (10) YEARS OF CONTINUED MEMBERSHIP AND IS IN GOOD STANDING, MAY RETIRE WITH DUES PAID. ANYONE JOINING AFTER 01-01-1984 REQUIRES TWENTY (20) YEARS OF CONTINUOUS MEMBERSHIP. MEMBER REACHING THE AGE OF 65 YEARS WITH ENOUGH TIME IN CLUB TO RETIRE, MUST WRITE A LETTER TO THE SECRETARY STATING MEMBERS DATE OF BIRTH & THAT THEY WANT TO BE ADDED TO THE RETIRED LIST.

8. MEMBERSHIP TRANSFERABLE TO ONLY HUSBAND OR WIFE, WITH APPROVAL OF BODY. ALL ORIGINAL MEMBERS GIVEN LIFETIME CARD

9. UPON DEATH OF A MEMBER, MEMBERSHIP WILL BE TRANSFERRED TO SPOUSE.

10. MEMBERSHIP CARDS MUST BE CARRIED AT ALL TIMES IN PARK AREA. A LOST CARD CAN BE REPLACED BY SECRETARY. ANYONE FOUND USING ANOTHER MEMBERS CARD WILL BE PROSECUTED FOR TRESPASSING.

11. CHILDREN OF MEMBERS MUST FILE APPLICATION FOR JUNIOR MEMBERSHIP WITHIN THIRTY (30) DAYS AFTER REACHING THEIR 18TH BIRTHDAY, APPLICANT MUST PAY AN ADDITIONAL $5.00 PER MONTH FOR EACH MONTH AFTER THE THIRTY (30) DAY GRACE PERIOD UP TO THE MONTH APPLICATION GIVEN TO SECRETARY. PROOF OF AGE MUST BE GIVEN BEFORE APPLICATION CAN BE ACCEPTED. UPON PAYMENT OF $10.00 INITIATION FEES PLUS ANNUAL DUES. AT THE AGE OF 21, $15.00 INITIATION FEES PLUS DUES, PLUS DAM FEES. JUNIOR MEMBERS DUES ARE $5.00 PER YEAR, PLUS A WORK DAY.

B. JUNIOR MEMBERS TRANSFERRING TO SENIOR MEMBERSHIP MUST MAKE AN APPEARANCE WITH SPOUSE BEFORE TRUSTEES, AND BE VOTED ON BY BODY OF CLUB MEMBERS BEFORE BECOMING A MEMBER.

C. CHILD OR CHILDREN ORPHANED DUE TO DEATH OF BOTH PARENTS WHO WERE MEMBERS IN GOOD STANDING WILL BE ISSUED A MEMBERSHIP CARD BEARING DECEASED PARENTS NAME. THIS CARD ENTITLES SAID CHILDREN SAME PRIVILEGES AS CHILDREN OF MEMBERS, AND UPON REACHING 18 YEARS OF AGE THEY MAY APPLY FOR JUNIOR MEMBERSHIP UNDER BY-LAW #11. SAID CHILDREN TO BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT MEMBER IN GOOD STANDING.

12. HONORARY MEMBERS SHALL BE APPROVED BY TRUSTEES AND THEN BROUGHT BEFORE MEMBERSHIP FOR APPROVAL. HONORARY MEMBERS HAVE NO VOICE OR VOTING PRIVILEGE. ANY FOUND UNDESIRABLE MAY BE DROPPED FROM LIST BY VOTE OF TRUSTEES.

13. LOTS! MEMBER WISHING TO BE PUT ON THE LOT WAITING LIST MUST PAY THE SECRETARY $25.00 AND SHOW RECEIPT TO PERSON IN CHARGE OF LOT LIST. MEMBERS NAME WILL THEN BE PUT ON BOTTOM OF THE LIST. MEMBERS ARE RESPONSIBLE TO PROVIDE ADDRESS AND PHONE NUMBER TO PERSON IN CHARGE OF LOT LIST. THE LOT LIST SHALL BE POSTED IN THE CLUB ROOM. WHEN LOT IS AVAILABLE, MEMBER HAS ONE (1) WEEK AFTER BEING CONTACTED. IF NO RESPONSE THEY WILL BE DROPPED ON LOT LIST TO THE BOTTOM.

B. ALL LOTS TO BE STANDARDIZED TO FIFTY (50) FEET WIDTH (150) FEET LENGTH IF TERRAIN PERMITS. EACH MEMBER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR LOT. I. LOT OWNERS MAY PUT A HOLDING TANK FOR SEWAGE, TANK MUST BE BURIED UNDER GROUND AND APPROVED BY TRUSTEES. ALL LOT LESSORS WITH SEPTIC TANKS MUST USE RID-X OR EQUIVALENT TO. LEAKAGE PROBLEMS SHOULD BE TAKEN CARE OF IMMEDIATELY OR REMOVE FROM USE.

J. WHEN LOT BECOMES AVAILABLE, NO MATTER WHAT IS ON IT, CLUB GETS FIRST CHOICE AT THAT LOT. IF CLUB REFUSES LOT, IT WILL THEN BE POSTED ON THE BULLETIN BOARD FOR TEN (10) DAYS WITH THE PRICE FOR CLUB MEMBERS WHO ARE ON THE LIST. AFTER TEN (10) DAYS, ANY MEMBER IN GOOD STANDING HAS THE RIGHT TO PURCHASE THE LOT.

K. AT ANY TIME A MEMBER WITH A CABIN OR A SHELTER DROPS OUT OF CLUB OR WISHES TO SELL SAID CABIN, HE MUST GIVE THE CLUB FIRST CHANCE TO BUY THE CABIN. THIS CABIN CAN BE SOLD AT APPRAISAL PRICE OR LESS. SET BY A COMMITTEE OF FIVE, COMPOSED OF TWO SENIOR TRUSTEES, TWO MEMBERS CHOSEN BY THE MEMBER DISPOSING OF SAID CABIN, AND THE FIFTH TO BE APPOINTED BY THE PRESIDENT. IF CABIN IS NOT SOLD, SAID MEMBER CAN RENT HIS CABIN TO ANY MEMBER. APPRAISAL PROCEDURE ONLY IF THE CLUB WISHES TO BUY OR IS INTERESTED. CABIN OWNER TO BE NOTIFIED AFTER FIRST REGULAR MEETING OF CLUB’S INTENTION. OWNER MAY THEN SELL DIRECTLY TO ANY MEMBER IN GOOD STANDING. MEMBER’S LOT IS TRANSFERRED WITH MEMBERSHIP.

L. UPON THE DEATH OF A MEMBER WHO LEASED A LOT (1) LOT AUTOMATICALLY GOES TO SPOUSE, (2) IF CLUB MEMBER WHO DIES DOES NOT HAVE A SPOUSE, LOT THEN GOES TO THE CARD CARRYING CHILDREN OF MEMBER. SAID CHILDREN MUST BE A MEMBER IN GOOD STANDING. THEY WILL HAVE THIRTY (30) DAYS TO DECIDE AND NOTIFY OFFICERS WHOSE NAME LOT WILL BE PUT IN. IF THE CHILDREN DO NOT WANT THE LOT FOR THEMSELVES, CLUB WILL THEN GIVE THEM ANOTHER SIXTY (60) DAYS TO SELL LOT TO ANOTHER CLUB MEMBER OR ELSE REMOVE ALL AND ANY PERSONAL PROPERTY FROM HIS LOT. THIS WILL GIVE THE CHILDREN OF DECEASED LOT MEMBER A TOTAL OF NINETY (90) DAYS TO DECIDE WHAT TO DO WITH THE LOT. AFTER THE NINETY (90) DAYS , LOT AUTOMATICALLY COMES BACK TO CLUB. (3) IF DECEASED LOT MEMBER DOES NOT HAVE ANY CHILDREN, NEXT OF KIN WILL HAVE THE SAME NINETY (90) DAYS TO SELL LOT OR REMOVE ANY AND ALL PERSONAL PROPERTY THAT IS ON THE LOT. (4) IF LOT IS TO BE SOLD, IT WILL BE DONE ACCORDING TO BY-LAW 13-J.

M. UPON DEATH OF A MEMBER THAT HAS LEASED A LOT, LOT WILL BE TRANSFERRED TO SPOUSE OR PERSON DESIGNATED BY DECEASED MEMBER (MUST BE MEMBER).

14. ALL GUESTS EXCEPT BABES IN ARMS ARE TO PAY THE SUM OF $1.00. ANY SINGLE JUNIOR OR SENIOR MEMBER CAN BRING A BOYFRIEND OR GIRLFRIEND OF THE OPPOSITE SEX FREE OF CHARGE. THIS INCLUDES FISHING ONLY. C. GUEST MUST BE WITH A MEMBER AND REGISTERED IN CLUB HOUSE WITH NAME AND ADDRESS.

D. NO GUEST PERMITTED ON FAMILY DAY EXCEPT MEMBERS RETIRED OR WIDOWED PARENTS AND GRANDPARENTS, AND SINGLE MEMBERS ONE GUEST OF OPPOSITE SEX.

E. ALL PAID MEMBERS WILL BE PERMITTED TO BRING HIS OR HER PARENTS WHO ARE RETIRED OR WIDOWED AS GUEST FREE OF CHARGE. THIS INCLUDES ALL CLUB FUNCTIONS.

F. MEMBERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR GUEST CONDUCT. MEMBERS WILL BE FINED FOR RULES BROKEN BY GUEST.

G. CHILDREN OF MEMBERS UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE WILL BE PERMITTED IN THE PARK, BUT PARENTS, WILL BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CHILDREN OBEYING ALL RULES.

15. ANY SOCIAL ORGANIZATION WISHING TO USE PARK PAVILLION ON HILL (MARIO PANEPUCCI SHELTER) OR CLUB GROUNDS MUST CONTACT CARETAKER. THE FEE WILL BE $10.00, THE ORGANIZATION WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY AND ALL DAMAGES. KITCHEN OR COOLER NOT INCLUDED. PERMISSION TO USE CLUB GROUNDS TO BE GRANTED BY PARK FOREMAN. TUESDAY THROUGH THURSDAY WILL BE AVAILABLE. NO HOLIDAYS.

B. OUTSIDE PAVILLION NEXT TO CLUB NOT TO BE RENTED.

C. GIRL OR BOY SCOUTS WILL HAVE THE PRIVILEGE OF CAMPING AT LAKE #4, PROVIDING THEY ARE ACCOMPANIED BY A SCOUT MASTER. THEY MUST OBEY ALL RULES.

16. ALL FREE PICNIC DAYS (LIMIT 5) SHALL BE DESIGNATED BY TRUSTEES.

17. THERE WILL BE NO DISCRIMINATION AGAINST MEMBERS AND/OR GUESTS.

18. HUNTING AND FISHING RESTRICTED TO MEMBER AND SPOUSE AND CHILDREN UNDER 18. SINGLE MEMBERS MAY BRING A BOYFRIEND OR GIRLFRIEND OF THE OPPOSITE SEX TO FISH WITH NO CHARGE. (7/11)

19. ANY ADJOINING FARMER WITH AT LEAST FORTY (40) ACRES THAT GOES INTO WRITTEN AGREEMENT WITH THE CLUB, GIVING CLUB MEMBERS THE RIGHT TO HUNT AND FISH ON THEIR LAND, WILL BE MADE AN HONORARY MEMBER.

20. ANY MEMBER DOING DAMAGE TO ANY ADJOINING FARMER MEMBERS PROPERTY MUST PAY ALL EXPENSES, INCLUDING COST OF LAW OR AGREED SETTLEMENT TO PARTY CONCERNED OR THEY FORFEIT THEIR MEMBERSHIP.

21. THERE WILL BE NO FIRES STARTED OF ANY KIND, ONLY AT DESIGNATED PLACES. ANY OTHER FIRE TO BE KINDLED MUST BE UNDER THE JURISDICTION OF THE PARK FOREMAN OR FIRE WARDEN. MEMBERS RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGES.

22. NO FIREWORKS OF ANY KIND PERMITTED ON CLUB GROUNDS UNLESS AUTHORIZED AND SUPERVISED BY CLUB TRUSTEES.

23. NO FIRING FIRE ARMS OR AIR RIFLES WITHIN RESTRICTED AREAS AT ANY TIME, EXCEPT AT ORGANIZED SHOOT, UNDER DIRECTION OF TRUSTEES. SAID RESTRICTED AREA TO BE DESIGNATED BY TRUSTEES.

24. NO MORE THAN ONE (1) PERMANENT AND ONE (1) PORTABLE TREE STAND PER MEMBER. NAME MUST BE ON TREE STAND.

25. NO BICYCLES ALLOWED ON LAKE 2 DAM OR SWIMMING AREA

26. NO POWER BOATS ALLOWED ON ANY LAKES EXCEPT WHEN AUTHORIZED BY TRUSTEES. BOATS ARE PERMITTED ON ALL LAKES. ALL BOATS MUST BE REGISTERED AT THE CLUB HOUSE. THE NUMBER GIVEN EACH BOAT MUST BE PAINTED OR LETTERED ON EACH BOAT. BOATS ON LAKE 2 MUST BE DOCKED AT THE DOCKS WEST OF THE DOCKS ON CLUB HOUSE SIDE OF LAKE 2 NOVEMBER 1ST TO MARCH 15TH.

A $15.00 FINE IF CLUB HAS TO MOVE BOATS. ONLY CARD CARRYING JR. AND SR. MEMBERS MAY USE ELECTRIC MOTORS. NO EXCEPTIONS. ELECTRIC MOTORS MAY BE USED ON ALL LAKES.

B. NO SWIMMING OR HORSEPLAY WILL BE PERMITTED ON ANY LAKES.

C. NO ONE UNDER THE AGE OF 18 YEARS ALLOWED IN BOATS OR ON LAKES WITHOUT A PERSONAL FLOTATION DEVICE, UNLESS ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT PARENT.

D. CHILDREN 12 OR UNDER MUST WEAR LIFE JACKET.

27. NO WOOD TO BE REMOVED FROM CLUB GROUNDS OR LIVE TREES TO BE CUT. EXCEPT BY APPROVAL OF MAJORITY OF TRUSTEES.

28. NO MORE THAN ONE (1) PERSON PER (A.T.V.). NO (A.T.V.’S) ON EITHER SIDE (ROADS) LAKES 2 AND 3. NO (A.T.V.’S) ON FAMILY DAY. (A.T.V’S.) SUBJECT TO SPEEDING FINE.

29. NO UNLICENSED VEHICLES (CARS AND TRUCKS) TO BE LEFT ON CLUB PROPERTY.

30. NO DUMPING OR LITTERING ON CLUB PROPERTY. NO HOME GARBAGE TO BE PUT IN CLUB BARRELS.

31. NO MEMBER SHALL BE FOUND PROWLING ON OR AROUND OTHER MEMBERS CABIN. ANY DISORDERLY CONDUCT ON THE PART OF ANY MEMBER OR HIS GUEST IN HIS CABIN OR ON CLUB GROUNDS, OR INDECENT EXPOSURE, IS SUBJECT TO A FINE.

32. ANY MEMBER FOUND GUILTY ON DISORDERLY CONDUCT CHARGE SHALL PAY A FINE OF $15.00, FINE TO BE PAID WITHIN THIRTY (30) DAYS OR HE FORFEITS HIS MEMBERSHIP. IF FOUND GUILTY ON SECOND OFFENSE, HE WILL BE DISCHARGED FROM CLUB. NO MEMBER CAN BE THROWN OUT OF CLUB FOR ACTIONS OF HIS GUEST UNLESS GUEST WAS PREVIOUSLY BARRED FROM CLUB BY JUDICIAL COMMITTEE. MEMBER WILL BE UNDER TWO (2) YEAR PROBATION FROM DATE OF JUDICIAL DECISION. SECOND OFFENSE WITHIN A TWO (2) YEAR PERIOD IS AUTOMATIC LOSS OF MEMBERSHIP. MEMBER CAN BE FINED FOR HIS GUEST’S ACTIONS OR CONDUCTS, BUT DOES NOT COME UNDER PROBATION OR LOSS OF MEMBERSHIP CLAUSES.

33. ANYONE FOUND VANDALIZING ON CLUB PROPERTY OR THEFT ON CLUB PROPERTY SHALL BE DISMISSED FROM THE CLUB PERMANENTLY, AND FORFEIT MEMBERSHIP.

34. ALL PERSONS FOUND ON CLUB GROUNDS WHO ARE NOT MEMBERS OR REGISTERED GUEST OF MEMBERS WILL BE PROSECUTED FOR TREPASSING.

35. ANY MEMBER CAUGHT BREAKING ANY GAME LAWS WILL BE FINED $75.00 FINE TO BE PAID WITHIN THIRTY (30) DAYS OR HE FORFEITS HIS MEMBERSHIP. SECOND OFFENSE, HE FORFEITS HIS MEMBERSHIP.

36. ANY MEMBER CONVICTED OF ANY POACHING WILL BE DISMISSED FROM CLUB PERMANENTLY.

37. SPEED LIMIT IN PICNIC AREA (CLUB HOUSE SIDE OF LAKE #2) NOT TO EXCEED 5 MILES PER HOUR, AND 10 MILES PER HOUR OVER ALL OTHER ROADS IN PARK, EXCEPT ENTRANCE ROAD. SPEED LIMIT ON MAIN ENTRANCE ROAD IS 20 MILES PER HOUR.

B. SPEEDING FINES SHALL BE $25.00 FOR FIRST OFFENSE, $50.00 FOR SECOND OFFENSE AND FORFEIT MEMBERSHIP WITH THIRD OFFENSE. ALL OCCURRING IN THE SAME YEAR.

C. $15.00 FINE FOR ANY VIOLATION OF BY-LAW OR PARK RULES WITH THE EXCEPTION OF GAME LAWS. MEMBER OR MEMBERS FILING CHARGES OF ANY VIOLATIONS SHALL FILE CHARGES THROUGH THE JUDICIAL COMMITTEE. FINES MUST BE PAID WITHIN THIRTY (30) DAYS OR HE FORFEITS HIS MEMBERSHIP.

38. MEMBERS WILL PUT GARBAGE IN CONTAINERS IN PICNIC AREAS AND CLEAN UP AROUND THEIR TABLE, FISHING SPOT, TREE STANDS, ANY PLACE ON CLUB PROPERTY. ANYONE CAUGHT LITTERING ON CLUB PROPERTY WILL BE FINED $50.00 OR FORFEIT MEMBERSHIP. LOT LESSORS MUST HAUL GARBAGE HOME OR TO CLUB BUILDING.

39. ALL LEG HOLE TRAPS MUST BE REMOVED DURING THE MONTH OF NOVEMBER EVERY YEAR.

40. PETS IN PICNIC AREA OR SHELTER MUST BE ON A LEASH AND ARE TO BE CLEANED UP AFTER. NO PETS ALLOWED IN SWIMMING POOL, POOL AREA, AND CLUB HOUSE.

41. ALL TUBES LARGER THAN REGULAR AUTO TUBES ARE FORBIDDEN IN POOL.

42. TRUSTEES MUST APPROVE ALL FISH PUT IN LAKES.

43. MEMBERS BREAKING RULES, NAME, OFFENSE AND PROBATION PERIOD WILL BE POSTED IN CLUB ROOM. ANYONE BARRED FROM CLUB GROUNDS NAME WILL BE POSTED IN CLUB ROOM.

44. ACTION WILL BE TAKEN BY THE TRUSTEES TO DECIDE REVOCATION OF MEMBERSHIP IN THE FOLLOWING INSTANCES.

#1 MALICIOUS AND PERSISTENT THREATS MADE AGAINST THE PINE VALLEY SPORTSMAN CLUB (INCLUDING IT'S OFFICERS AND CARETAKERS), INTENDED TO UNDERMINE IT'S LIVEHOOD.
#2 INTENTIONAL DESTRUCTION OR THEFT OF CLUB PROBERTY OR MEMBER PROPERTY.
