where you can see all the action all the time.
Martinsville is the only track still in operation
that was up and running in the late 40s.
First dirt, then paved in 1955...
thus the tires and setups suddenly took on importance.
Seems like something's missing in the pits...
like the pitwall !!!
Racin' has come a long way in the safety dept...
with soft walls coming and the Hans device for the drivers.
Martinsville is a .526 oval
with 12 degree banking in the turns.
