Merry Meet I thought a long hard time before publishing these pages. Always keeping in mind that I am solely responsible for their content. Concerned by the fact that most people who will be reading these pages are untrained in the practice of Witchcraft, I was careful to print only those spells that I felt were "safe" for the novice to perform. Along with the preliminary words of caution and advice pertaining to the practice of Witchcraft, I am secure in giving all my readers my blessings to perform my spells. As long as they are performed sincerely, and with respect for the Dieties, you should have no problems. May all those who come here with Peace and Love in their hearts find what they are seeking. May these pages call out to those who would benefit from them. And may they be shielded from unfriendly eyes. May they enrich, enlighten, stimulate, and educate all those who study here. Before proceeding , please read The Wiccan Rede. It is the most common and ethical code among Witches. And I encourage anyone who would perform any of the spells contained in my Book of Shadows to abide by the Rede. This is not only out of respect for our beliefs, but also to insure your safety when engaging in the practice of Witchcraft.

My advice is to attempt all other means of attaining your goals before resorting to Magick. It is not a toy to be played with, as it is very powerful, and oftentimes, one can get along just fine without it.

However, lighting a candle to help you attain a need is more than appropriate. As long as you are willing to accept the repercussions of your actions, as well as the benefits.

Creating a spell is much like giving birth. Once born it is your responsibility. And you own any and all blame for bringing it into your life and the lives of others. So........

LOVE SPELLS

Some witches feel that Love Spells are manipulative and take away another's free will. I disagree. As long as the purpose of the spell is to bring love into your life or the life of another, I don't feel that it is negative.

TO FIND A LOVER

In the light of a new moon, light a red candle. Take a rose petal, and using a pen that no one else has used, write on the rose petal: As this petal glows in candlelight, I draw a lover to me this night. Prepare a bath with the remaining petals of the rose. Bathe in the rose bath and dress in a robe or loose fitting night clothes. You should feel relaxed and comfortable. A glass of wine is optional. Hold the rose petal in the light of the candle and say the above incantation aloud. Now place the rose petal in a new envelope and seal it with wax from the red candle. Place the envelope under your mattress and do not disturb it for the complete cycle of the moon (28 days). When the moon is new again there should be a new love in your life. Thank the Universe for your blessings. It is done. So Mote It Be!

LOVE TEA SPELL

This spell should be done on a Monday or Friday during a new moon phase. Items needed 3 candles (red, pink and white) 4 caraway seeds 4 fennel seeds 3 rose hips 5 edible rose petals 2 cups of spring water Light candles and brew tea by the light of the 3 candles. Bring 2 cups of spring water to a boil and add all ingredients. Remove from heat and while Love Tea is steeping, pass your hands over the steam 3 times. Feeling the the heat of the steam, concentrate on the feelings of love. Pour a cup of tea into your favorite cup. Sitting in a relaxing place, sip the tea while thinking of your intended lover. A photo of the subject will help you to focus. Recite this incantation: "I lift this cup to my lips, I drink it slowly in tiny sips. Rose, fennel and caraway, Together will cause my love to stay. So Mote It Be." Thank The Powers That Be for blessing this spell It is done.

LOVE CAKES SPELL

As with most Love Spells, this should be done during th new moon phase. Ingredients needed: Spring water ( that has been left overnight in the light of a full moon ) dried edible rose petals 1 teaspoon of cinnamon Any commercial or homemade cake mix Add the first 3 ingredients to the prepared cake mix in the order in which they are listed saying: "A drop of moon blood, a pinch of rose, I add the cinnamon to please his/her nose." When cake is finished baking, remove it from the oven saying the following incantation 3 times: "With each bite we two entwine. This spicy cake will make him/her mine." So Mote It Be. It Is Done.

HOME PROTECTION SPELL BOTTLE

This bottle is meant to be encased in a wall or under a floorboard. But if that is impossible, then it should be placed in a position of importance somewhere in the home. Items Needed: A bottle with a cork stopper 1 cup of salt 3 cloves of garlic 9 bay leaves 7 tblsp. of dried basil 4 tblsp. dill seed 1 tblsp. sage 1 tblsp. anise 1 tblsp. black pepper 1 tblsp. fennel a bowl In the morning of a bright and sunny day, assemble all items. Place the salt into the bowl and say: "Salt that protects, protect my home and all who are within it." Add the rest of the ingredients, one by one, repeating the above phrase (but changing the name of the ingredient) with each ingredient that you add. Mix all ingredients with your hands (this imparts energy into the mixture of protective items) Visualize your home as a fortress or sanctuary, a secure place. Pour the mixture into your bottle and seal it tightly. Place it in an appropriate location in your home and say: "Salt and herbs, 9 times 9, Guard now this home of mine . So Mote It Be" It is Done.

SPELL TO RELEASE ANGER

Anger is a form of energy. When energy is directed to a worthwhile purpose it can be very beneficial. However. when we harbor anger, the energy that is formed is dangerous to the universe and it hinders us from getting on with our lives. Here is a spell to release anger and send it back into the cosmos where it can become neutralized. Items needed: A glass item (something pertaining to the object of your anger) Some black paint or a black marker With the paint or marker embelish the glass object with symbols or words pertaining to the object of your anger. Meditate on your anger and it's source. Take as much time as you need to build up as much angry energy as you possibly can. Then, summon all your strength, close your eyes, and throw the glass object as hard as you can. Listen to it shatter. Take a deep cleansing breathe And Smile Walk away and don't look back. So Mote It Be, It is done.

$ MONEY SPELL $

This spell should be done during a full moon Fill a cauldron (or bowl) half full of water and drop into it a silver coin. Position the cauldron so that the light of the full moon shines into the water. Gently sweep your hands over the surface of the water. (As if you are gathering the Moon's silver) Repeat the following incantation 3 times: "Lovely Lady of the Moon Bring to me your wealth right soon Fill my hands with silver and gold All you can give, my purse can hold." When finished take out the coin (carry it with you as a charm) and pour the water onto the earth. It is done.

RIGHT OF UNION

This is not a spell. However, it is a beautiful cleansing ritual. I thought that after working hard on your spell, that you might benefit from a karmic cleansing. It will restore your Chi (life force). So here it is. First of all, this ritual can be performed by the light of the full moon, (in which case it is dedicated to the Goddess). Or it can be performed by the light of the sun, (in which it is dedicated to the God). Stand or kneel before the light and make the Triangle of Manifestation ( index fingers and thumbs together to form a triangle, resting on your head pointing up ) and say: "Hail and adoration unto Thee, O' Source of All Enlightenment. I pray Thee impart to me Thy illumination." Make the Triangle on your forehead. This region is called the Third Eye. Say: "And enlighten my mind that I may perceive more clearly all things in which I endeavor." Make the triangle at your solar plexis (still pointing upward with palms facing out) and say: "I reveal my Inner Self to Thee and ask that all be clensed and purified within." Raise your arms at your side, palms up. Wait a moment for the Blessings. End the ritual by saying: 'In Thy Name and by Thy Grace let it be done."
