Edna (2nd small girl from left) was 6 years old when she started singing in the choir of the Episcopal church in Winchendon, MA. The little ones sang only the Amens. The choir director gave each child a dime every Saturday for coming to rehearsal. Edna bought glass doll dishes with hers. |
